I haven’t seen too many scans of ps2 disks.I am currently working with Jeepguy81 at the hyperspin forums to create a full set of vertical arcade themes for the HS frontend, I have been working on the SHMUPS themes for about 6 months and I have hit a small roadblock, I am in need of some art (high res, good quality) to continue putting these themes together so the theme set will be amazing.

Disc Images? This is probably not likely.

Need a system intro video for main wheel.

Test and refine how to integrate using desmume.

Test and refine a way to integrate Dolphin emulator into Hyperspin.

Possibly include disc images (similar to the dreamcast theme created by the hyperspin project on UG).

Create Main Menu Theme and Default Game Theme.

I’m concentrating on finishing my cabinet (and finishing graduate school … at some point). Also keep in mind that I will be doing this at a painfully slow pace.

Also keep in mind, I will be concentrating on the games I have, this might not include what you have, but you are welcome to contribute. I’d be happy if I could at least figure how to make all the art the same size through a batch process.

My photoshop skillz are whickity wack so don’t expect anything fancy.

This process might take a while, but in the end I hope to have something that’s as nice as what is already available on Hyperspin.įor those interested in collaborating, I will update this post as I make progress and possibly share my work if it’s legal to do so (I have to check if there’s an issue doing that with newer systems). I also hope to create other art sets that will help me fully integrate my ps2, nintendo ds, and gamecube collection. The theme that I do end up creating will be will fit the theme of the other themes already available. I do not have the time nor attention span to make such a nice theme. So to be very clear, my theme will NOT be as nice as this theme. I have recently been inspired by the video I placed below.
